Remarkably, we had four students tie for first place as our highest scorer. Lucy G, Stella M, Sophie D and Eliza D all achieved a score of 20 out of 25. This put them in the top 10% of students who competed in all of Australia and New Zealand.
Declan Q, Evie D Y, Luca Y and Ronan McG also achieved a score that placed them in the top 10% of the 36,307 students who took part in the competition this year. An outstanding achievement.
The certificates and awards will be presented to the students at assembly in the next few weeks.
Well done to all of the students who competed in the Maths Olympiad sessions this year. They all applied themselves beautifully and represented their school with pride. All students should be extremely proud of their progress and results!
