COVID-19 UPDATE FEBRUARY 2021

As announced by the Victorian Government, Stage 4 Restrictions have been introduced and St. Joseph’s Primary School will close this Monday 15th, 16th and 17th February.

We will provide an on-site supervision program for those in the categories identified. More information below


In accordance with Government guidelines,
St. Joseph’s Primary School will close this Monday 15th, 16th and 17th February.

This means that all students who can stay at home must stay at home.

We will provide an on-site supervision program with a tight criteria that has been introduced and all students will be need to remain at home except for those in the following categories:

  • children whose parents are permitted workers (i.e. no adult at home). In these instances the form requesting ‘on-site attendance’ will be required. 
  • vulnerable children in out of home care, children known to child protection and other agencies and children the school identifies as vulnerable

Stage 4 Restrictions require all schools to adhere to the above criteria in order for families to access on-site supervision programs. This will come into effect at 11:59pm Friday 12th February. If you require on-site supervision, a form must be submitted for approval by the Principal.

All parents must submit the following form (link attached below) should they require on-site supervision for their child/ren on Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday of next week. Please indicate which day/s. Parents and carers will be informed via email as to the outcome of their request. Please note that requests will be decided by the Principal based on the criteria set out above. 

OSH Club will be available from 7:00am - 8:30am, and 3:30 - 6:00pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Only children who meet the above criteria will be able to attend.
